Tradi- tionally the dead leaves have dried up and fallen,however, different from recent years past the living vegitation; crops, trees, grass, all that Oregonians know to be green is also dry and dying. A drought has consum ed the Northwest and we will very likely go several more mon ths without significant rainfall. Still the incredible beauty of fall remains. The brilliant shades of orange, gold, and brown, delicately weave throughout the changing season. There is some good in everything.
