That Saturday 12 women, a mixture of students, staff and community members, hiked to the top of Cascade Head. They were led by Ellen Burbridge and Margaret Cook, faculty members at the Targeted Learn ing Center. Focus on Women hopes to create some events each term to let women from all walks of life come together. Winter term there will be a snow outing (possibly cross country skiing). Spring term there will be a weekend retreat with workshops on topics ranging from self- esteem to time management. These are all open to women in the community.
