briefs Night course Have a severe case of in somnia? Like to weld? If so, the College offers the best solution, a moonlight welding class. The class, conducted this term, is scheduled from 1:30 a.m. to 6 a.m., Tuesdays through Fridays. Contact the College welding department at Ext., 413 and prepare to weld into the wee hours of the night. Cycle class Motorcycle safety courses will be offered this fall term at the College. The course is open to those 14 and older wishing to im prove riding skills or just learn how to ride a motorcycle. The safety course is sponsored by the Four Seasons Motorcycle Riding School. The course is taught on two consecutive weekends with classroom and on-the-cycle in struction totaling 23 hours. Helmets, gloves and motor cycles are provided. Kid kare For parents attending the College, the going is made easier with two day care cen ters located on the campus, the Child Development Center, and the Child Drop-in Center. The Child Developement Center is staffed by four full- time teachers who assist the children in learning while their parents are learning. The children receive pre-school in struction in math, science, language arts, music, art and other subjects. The center is open from 7:45 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. Monday through Friday. The center will care not only for the children of College students, but for community radiator coolant, wiper blades, children, as well.
