Men’s track The men's track team will open its season with the Ore gon Community College Ath letic Association Relays this Saturday at Lane Community College in Eugene. The Cougars look for their strength in the middle dis tance and from strong indivi duals in the field events. Kelly Britz, an AAA State Champion in the 880 and mile while at Jesuit High School, will key the team in the middle distances. Dave Rudishauser, Tom Winters, and Don Brown com pete in a variety of events ranging from the 400 meters to the mile. Both the shot put and discus have strong fields with Dan Jackson, Randy Bolliger, and Gary Kuehn competing. Bolliger, a Jackson High School prepster, was the AAA champion in the shot put. Other competitors are Dave Grosnickle in the pole vault, Preston Martin in the high jump, Dave Reed in the triple jump, Curt Lowrey in the javelin, and Mark Nugen in the decathlon.
