In cross coun try the situation doesn’t change. Both the' varsity, juniors and sophomores have taken city and the frosh, after completing an undefeated season and being dual meet champions, suffered their first loss to Madison. After completing the city com- petition, the team under the coaching of Mark Cotton, moved to the state meet where they took fourth place. Entered in the state meet this year were 23 teams and 180 individuals, mak ing the competition tough. Coming in eighth in the individual race for first was Senior Bruce McCormmach, next came seniors Chuck Kinsey in 21st place, and Roger Neilson in 50th place. Sophomore Greg Schukart came in next for Grant in 60th place, freshman Scott Jackson 77th, and junior John Hamilton in 95th place. Fi Grant ......................................
