Now $125,000 At the Beach Real Estate Do some milling about in Toledo Toledo will be the site of the fi nal walk of 2019 for the Yachats-based coastal gems walking group, with an outing to the Toledo Ridge & River route this Tuesday, Dec. 3. Th e route is broken into three sections and takes advantage of the gentler slopes with only one seriously steep hill. Th ere is even a section with almost no incline. Guests can feel free to tackle the whole six miles or whichever section or sections suit their needs and enjoyment. Walking sticks and sturdy shoes recommended. And this is the Oregon Coast, so layer your clothing and bring rain gear. Dogs are allowed but must be on a six- foot non-extendable lead, and owners must carry and use appropriate cleanup materials. Take your pick this weekend If the thought of entering a crowded store this Black Friday brings you out in a cold sweat, there are plenty of good excuses to spend the day outside instead — with free fi shing throughout the state on Friday and Saturday; and a Green Friday cleanup in Lincoln City. Oregon Fish and Wildlife hosts annual Free Fishing Days the two days after Th anksgiving. Th at means on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29 and 30, no fi shing licenses or tags are required to fi sh, crab or clam anywhere in Oregon. Although no licenses or tags are required, all other fi shing regulations apply including closures, bag limits and size restrictions. See the Oregon Sport Fishing Regulations to fi nd out more. And on Friday, Nov. 29, Lincoln City Parks & Rec will be hosting a Green Friday event, cleaning up the stretch of NW 40th Street from Highway 101 to Chinook Winds Casino Resort. Raffl es prizes will be awarded to volunteers and, after the work is done, Black Squid Beerhouse will give $1-per-pint discounts on beer for everyone who lent a hand.
