“I love the way light transforms the
landscape, in particular early morning when
the air is fresh and the shadows are long and
transparent,” Kelly said, “and I believe the
best way to paint the beautiful subtleties of
light is with easel fi rmly planted where it’s
happening, on a cliff edge, riverbank or sand
dune.”

located at 173 NW 7th Avenue, will be open
Saturday only.
Th e 26th Annual Toledo Labor Day Art
Walk, runs from Saturday, Aug. 31, through
Monday, Sept. 2.
