Fur the past two years Mr. Finnerty has been connected with the department o f education o f the University o f Oregon. Previous to that time he spent eight years as a teacher in the Albany schools, part of the time ns instructor in the high school and Inter ns principal o f the junior high school. Mr. Finnerty graduated from Cot tage Grove high school in I9U4 nml from Drain normal in 1908. During the two years nt the university he took special work in education in nddition to his work on the faculty. Mr. Wright moved to Oregon about 38 ycajs ago and purchased a farm near Walker He donated a part o f thi» farm for the Walker cemetery in which he was buried. Mr. Wright is survived by his widow.
