is a Syrian dish and when rooked right

bilge. The rice should first be cooked
in the usual way and should he very

The state highway commission has
advertised for bids f«ir a miie and a
half of paving at Cottage Grove to be
considered at the July meeting o f the
commission. It is probable that the
paving referred to is the route o f
Pacific, highway through the city, as
there would be no other such j<ib of
| paving here. It has been understooil
| that the commission intended to do
| this paving this year.
