O The Woman's Foreign Missionary society o f tho Methodist church met Friday afternoon with Mrs. J. A. Wright. The hostess was assisted by Mrs. J. R. Heiulricka. Sixteen mem bora and visitors were present. The lesson topic was “ Medical Missions in Siam.’ ' The mystery box contest re suited iu Mrs. Hendricks' side winning three poiuts. A motiou was carried to combine the thunk offering and ladies * j aid, the meeting to be held at the church April 2S A t the conclusion of the meeting light refreshments were served. ^ ♦ Mrs. E. A. Gleason and Mrs. C. E. Erost were hostesses to the t'oiistella tion club in the Masonic hull yeater day afternoon. Guests of the club were Mrs. J. A. Wright, Mrs. A. W. Swan son and Mrs. Charles ¡Stevens. But Miss Swanson leaps on a gas car and rushes to the reseue with a red lantern. The middle of the trestle has burned through and the rails are hanging over the chasm when she arrives. As the heroine catches, a glimpse of the trestle, her ear shoots ahead, and just as she reaches the edge, she leaps o ff and the tricycle plunges into tho chasm. The special is saved.
