A fter the lesson, Mrs. Harvey, assisted by Mrs. Roy Hmith, surprised the elub members by spread- mats upon the floor and serving tea and cakes in real Japanese style, ac companied by the burning o f incense. ♦ « ♦ The Ladies Aid society of the Pres byterian church met in the parlors of the church Wednesday afternoon. Mra. Worth Harvey, Mrs. Elzie Holderm&n and Mrs. Oliver Veatch were the host esses.
