London 4-H Mothers Club Completes 55th Quilt

ished making their 55th quilt
They sell the quilts to raise money
for worthy causes or give them
to needy persons.
On February 5 members cele-
brated the club's Itith birthday
with a turkey dinner. Fourteen
members were present, including
two charter members. Mrs. I>*on
Morton and Mi's. Glen Banton.

Improvements were made in the

voting facilities. Recently mem
bers had purchased plyboard for
the improvements.
The London 4-H Mothers club
was organized January 29. 1941
At first members started crafts
and studied the different projects
included in the 4-H clubs. In 1948
they commenced making the
quilts.

house, which was later sold to
