installed at joint ceremonies with
the IOOF and Rebekah Lodges of

New Band Teacher
CRESWELL John Lyons, who
took over the music instruction

Mr. Lyons is a native of Illinois,
attended schools in that state and
in Indiana and graduated from a
college in Florida. He taught in
Florida before coming to Oregon

and Mrs. A. F. Denney, has been
elected editor of the Crescent, the
school annual for this year, and
is reported doing a fine job. She

Everson of Fort Dodge, Iowa, sis-
ter of Mrs_ Nordling and sister-
in-law of Mrs. Everson. Miss
Everson, who made her home in
Creswell for many years and now-
conducts her studio for organ and
piano students in Fort Dodge,
with a close friend, have recently
returned from an extended trip
through Europe and the letters
told all about their experiences.
Miss Everson will relate more
of her travels in letters yet to
come. Refreshments were served
by the hostess.
