Ac cording to Ted.Wilson, manager of the summer recreation program in Drain, residents in this area are cordially invited to swim in the pool. The lessons are free, but there- is a 20 cent charge for youngsters to get in the pool. Tuesday and Thursday 8 to 10 year old boys apd girls will be given lessons, Monday and Wed- nesday, 4 to 7 year old boys and girls; and on Fridays those 10 years old and over. Wilson pointed out that this has no connection with the Cottage Grove swim program, which comes in August in Springfield. He urged any interested parents to bring children down to swim and or to take the lessons. The pool is lo- cated in the North Itouglas me- mortal park.
