Services will be held in the music room of Jefferson school at 11 o'clock Sunday morning and at 8 o’clock on Wednesday eve ning. The temporary place of Chris tian Science reading room is at 22m S. Sixth. The reading room is open on Monday and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. The healing of the centurion’s servant by Christ Jesus as re corded in Luke will keynote a section of the Lesson-Sermon en titled "Soul and Body,” which will be read in all Christian Science churches on May 24. From this Biblical account, the First Reader concludes in a passage from “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy (p. 210), "Knowing that Soul and its attributes were forever manifested through man, the Master healed the sick, gave sight to the blind, hearing to the deaf, feet to the lame, thus bring ing to light the scientific action of the divine Mind on human minds and bodies and giving better understanding of Soul and salvation. Offering Goes To SDA Medical Training Center Medical education will get a boost from a church here Satur day when the Cottage Grove Sev enth-day Adventist church joins with all like churches in the United States and Canada in giving the day’s offering to th.' denomination’s largest medical training center. The offering will go to the Col lege of Medical Evangelists, Ix>ma Linda and Los Angeles, California, where nearly 100 physicians are graduated annually. In addition, the college operates seven schools in other phases of the healing arts such as dentistry, nursing, nutri tion, and physical therapy. Davidson to Europe on a special relief mission, on which trip he finally ended up behind the Iron Cui tain in the land of Piland. He saw the hor rors of total war, studied the people and conditions first hand. For many years the Rev. David son has been a close student of the different "Isms" of Europe, especially Communism.
