Mr. Wiese said he believed the structure should be replaced and that the city should float a bond issue to finance the project. The bridge, which is at least 50 years old, has moved some re cently on its west foundation, ac cording to the city engineer. Use of the bridge is restricted and loaded logging trucks can no long er use it. One suggestion made by City Recorder Don Allen was that the city could place several thousand dollars a year in a budget sinking fund that would provide for con struction in a few years. Cost is estimated at about $70,000.
