Father Mai Names New Mass Schedule Pearls of Praise Singers to Appear Here Jan. 12 Church Father Carl .Mai, pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic church here, has announced a new schedule of Masses for both Cot tage Grove and Drain. The local Masses will hr (ft 8 land 11 a.m instead of at 8 and 10 as previously. At Drain the I twice-monthly Masses will be .n- creased to weekly Sunday Masses at 9:30 a m. Father Mai has re ceived a special dispensation to say the three Masses; ordinarily a priest is allowed to say only two , Masses daily. The Drain services are being j held in the American Legion Hall temporarily, but a budding pro- 1 gram is planned. The catechism classes at the 1 Cottage Grove church will be held it 10 a m. Saturday of each week, .starting January 12. ~ They had , previously been held at 11 a.m. SundAy. Sisters from St. Mary’s School in Eugene will continue as teachers.
