June 10, for the wedding of Miss Cleo Elaine Stroh, daughter of Calvin H. Stroh, of Cottage Grove, to Leonard G. Barkemeyer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Allxirt BarkemeyeF. also of Cottage Grove. The Rev. C. B. Starkey officiated at thi candlelight ceremony. The couple exchanged wedding vows in a set ting of white carnations. The white tapeis were lighted preceding the ceremony by Bruce Johnson and Marvin Schaffer. Miss Carolyn Moore sang. "Oh. Promise Me." accompanied by Miss Karen Madsen, who also played the wed- ding march. Mrs. Wolff Allen. Mrs. William Sayles and Mrs. Jack Dillon en tertained members of the Wend ling Needle club at the Allen home at a luncheon on June 15. The Wendling Needle club was formed many years ago and ail members were residents of that community at one time.
