W. 1 Englund led the devotional ser vice. Reports were given by those attending the state conference I and the district conference, both being held in Eugene. Mm. Frank i Brown reported on the state con- i ference and Mm. Lee Cooley, Mm. , N. E. Conference and Mm. S. L. i Mackin gave reports on the dis trict conference. The engagement of Miss Miriam Ferrin to Earnest D. Lldcll, son of Levi L. Lldcll, of Coos Bay, was announced last week in Berkeley, California where both are stu dents at the Pacific School of Religion. Miss Ferrin is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Ferrin, former ly of this city, now living in Lake- view. She is a graduate of Cottage Grove schools and Oregon State College, and will receive her master's degree in religious ed ucation from the California school in June. Her fiance is preparing for ministry In the Congregational church. A definite wedding date has not been set.
