Kansas, and went to Concordia to make their: home. Tn 1902 they moved to Seattle, I! Washington to make their home, and there Mr. Collins was super intendent of a laundry and clean-1 ing establishment. They came to Cottage Grove in 1928 where Mr. I Collins opened the Cottage Grove Laundry on the old Pacific High way. Twelve ladies and five children were present. A delicious lunch was served at noon and a business meeting followed with several plans being made for the work to be done in the class rooms and kitchen. A very enjoyable time was had by everyone present. There will be another al) day meeting Wednes day, January 12th. It was decided to meet twice each month on the second and fourth Wednesday for all day meetings.
