OREGON Area Navy Quota Is Increased 100 Fair Tower« by Night In connection with the navy's expansion program, which calls for an increase of enlisted person nel to 170,(MX) men, the quota of sixty recruits assigned the Port land recruiting district for the month of June, has been increas ed to 1(X), it was announced today by Lieutenant Commander L. B. Stuart, Portland navy recruiting officer. This large quotu has been exceeded only once* during the period since the President declar ed as “Limited National Emer gency” last September.
