R Ames com pany was displayed by the Eu gene Concrete Pipe company. The pipe was shown with perforations in two sizes, one capable of throwing out two inches of water per hour and the other one inch per hour. Rotary sprinklers, flood pumps and semi-automatic couplers were demonstrated by the R. M Wade company. Light pipe was shown, the company stressing package units for irrigating all acreages. Power for the demonstration was provided by the Eugene wa ter board who sent out a trans former and truck to take juice from its lines. Water was pump ed from a small pond formed by excavations during the construc tion of the new highway.
