Music Festival At Armory21st Over six hundred students of ■ Cottage Grove and adjoining dis tricts will participate in the an nual Music Festival to be held at the armory next week on Friday i evening, April 21. This event is presented to the community free of charge for the furtherance of music appreciation and interest. All grade school students, from the 1st to the Sth grades will participate. Special numbers will be offered by the high school girls’ chorus, the girls’ trio, boys’ quartet, and soloists. The combined school orchestras will introduce the pro gram and a rhythm band from the Westside school will offer a special feature. It is expected that extra num bers will be given by some of the ' outside schools. Miss Marian Jelinek, music supervisor, with the assistance of the grade teach ers and R. G. Dykstra, orchestra leader, will direct the program. Ray Trask of the Cot tage Grove Creamery reports that the creamery is now making about twice the normal amount of butter and as result butter is down to 26 cents on the local markets, while eggs are retailing from sixteen to nineteen cents per dozen. The local creamery makes about 80,000 pounds of butter per year, but may exceed this amount in 1939.
