Guests Sunday at the Bert My ers home were the Harold Kirk family of Springfield, the Doug Castle family and Clifford Green of Hebron, Mr. and Mrs. Art Jen kins of Cottage Grove, Mr. and Mrs. H. Lake of Thornton Corners and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Myers and family of Delight Valley. A petition has been circulated in this community recently for tMe reelection of Miss Beryl Smith for teacher of the Blue Mountain school District 31. Nearly all homes in the district were reach ed, and all persons contacted signed, making it one hundred per cent. Mr. and Mrs. James Lebow ac- companied the Mac and Tony To- noU families to Albany Sunday to visit with Mrs. Martha Gurley. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Lebow are visiting at the James Lebow home. The community club met Tues day evening with Mr. and Mrs. Burcham. There was a short busi ness meeting followed by discus sion of rural improvements and farm problems.
