Residents on the short piece of road which cuts across to the Lon- don road from a point on Pacific highway near the Roscoe Yearous place, have petitioned the countv to take over the road. Knox, nephew of the late ~ Dr. Oglesby and consin of Mrs. James P. Graham of this city, died at Pomona, Calif., December 15, according to word received here recently.
