Mrs. Robert Meranda received
a message Monday announcing the
death of her husband’s father,
Henry Meranda, of Azalea, Oregon.
Death was due to heart trouble.
Mrs. Meranda’s health would not
permit her to travel but her father,
I. B. Morris, and two daughters,
Helen and Genevieve, left Monday
to attend the funeral.
Robert
Meranda, the son, was in California
on his way here but probably went
to Azalea after learning of his
father’s death.
Mrs. Neal McCoy died Tuesday
morning at the home of Mrs. Mc
Coy’s sister at Divide. The funeral
was held Tuesday and interment
was made in the Divide cemetery,

10 and 12, were at the Penney
store of this city with theij par-

by the story, took up a collection
among themselves, bought the kid-

six feet. The dogs had practically
finished the job when their owner
