A fall fieldtrip to
My Brothers’ Farm
Bison and piggies and bees
oh my!
Recent visitors to the annual Fall Festival at My Brothers’ Farm were treated to a tour of the 320 acres, bustling
with activity. More than 50,000 plants and trees have been installed in the last six years in efforts to restore natu-

offspring. More than 35 bison roam the pastures, eating grass and grains, before eventually being harvested
for their meat. A popular hayride attraction, guests including James Horvath, 3, throws an apple to one of 26
eager, free-range pigs, as his sister Piper, 6, takes a more cautious approach. Vibrant beehives line the workroad
through the farm, insuring not only pollination for the native species, and organic apple and hazelnut trees, but
