12 Obituaries/In Other Words April 21 2022 In Memory of... Katrina A. Hall Katrina A. Hall, 37, of Portland, Oregon, passed away on March 20, 2022, after a lengthy and courageously fought battle with cancer. Her family and close friends were by her side in her room at OHSU, as she left this earth. We were all so lucky to have known this beautiful soul. She always looked after others and was the best friend anyone could ever have. As we all grieve, let us remember the beautiful experienc- es and memories we have of her. She loved her family and friends with everything she had. Katrina was born on January 6, 1985 to Robert K Dyer and Debby, in Newport Beach at Hoag Hospital, in California. She moved to Vernonia in 1991 with her mother and brother to stay with her grandmother. She attended school, K through 12 th grade, in Vernonia, before starting her career at Mc- Donalds, in North Plains, then moved to Portland to be near her brother and work as a barista and bartender. Katrina has left behind her mother, Debby Hall; Dad, Mark Hall; father, Robert Dyer; brother, Carnin K. Hall; her ad- opted family in Banks, Oregon; along with many aunts and uncles throughout California and Wash- ington. A Celebration of Ka- trina’s Life will be held at the home of Chris and Susan Spicer Pond, 17270 Noakes Road, Verno- nia, on April 29, at 8:00 pm.
