We have lots of kittens of all colors and all sizes that are ready to go to their new homes. That's right folks, kitten season is officially in full swing. We just took in 20, currently have about 10 in foster homes, and are expect- ing more to arrive this week. If you are in the market to liven up your house we suggest you come in and see us about adopting a kitten. Our adoptions are $125, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, and treatment for fleas and worms. 2084 Oregon Street, St. Helens, OR 97051 Layla is about two years old and weighs about 60 lbs. She is currently living with her foster family and it is time for us to find her a home. She is a wonderful, loving dog, and has a pretty strong obedience background, but will need a home with a strong fence to keep her contained. She would be best as an only dog, but if we were to place her in a home with a male, he would have to be similar in age with a less dominate personality. She is not going to do well with cats. She does well with children as she is currently living with kids that are over 8 years old. She needs a consistent family that is going to provide her with strong structure and a loving life. This breed is not known to be lazy so an active family is going to be best for her. Layla is not located at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting her, we ask that you please email animalwelfare@columbiahumane.org to get an application. Once we have an approved application on file we will schedule a time for you to meet her.
