in other words august3 2017 15 Your Horoscope for August 2017 By Stacey Lynn This month is full of surprises and unusual events. Take the time to discern between false and real information. Leo (July 22-August 21) Instinct and passion may rule you now. Take the first step and something crazy might happen! At work, set your goals, plan your ac- tions and get to it. Energies are a little wild and things may run amok otherwise. Try to assert your will in a diplomatic way, avoid conflicts and do not react to provocations. Virgo (August 22-September 21) Everything is hap- pening in your mind and concentrating on details may kill romance. Just don’t blow things out of pro- portion and things will improve after the 23rd. Lead as well-balanced a life as possible. Get enough rest and avoid over-indulgence. Beware of “helpers” that aren’t what they seem. Libra (September 22-October 22) It is possible that you may meet someone important at a public event, someone you can look up to. Success at work may be linked to a team. Postpone major decisions until Sep- tember. If there’s an emergency, seek out the advice of a specialist. Otherwise, enjoy the sunshine and have fun! Scorpio (October 23-November 21) No major changes or unusual events in sight connected to love. You have a drive to succeed and the energy neces- sary to get it done. With success comes material pros- perity and earnings. Watch the desire to over-indulge or enjoying life in an extreme way. But go show them what you’ve got! Sagittarius (November 22-December 20) Your rela- tionship may influence your career. Changes of heart and mind occur but clear up in September. Bumps in the road career-wise only aid you in focusing on what needs to happen. Financial advantages come through partnerships. It is worth your while to be tol- erant. Don’t rush. Capricorn (December 21-January 19) A good term for both old and new loves. Still, you should not mix business with pleasure. You can expect to achieve great things career-wise. No rushing through deci- sions. Health is your priority. Drop everything if need be to take care of yourself. Be careful and aware in travel and communication. Aquarius (January 20-Febuary 18) You may be a powerhouse this month. Your desire to conquer and impose your will is great. Others may feel you do not respect their opinions or feelings. Take it easy, dial it back a notch. Your professional life depends on others. Take care of finances so you aren’t caught short later on. Mellow.....! Pisces (Febuary 19-March 20) This is an impor- tant month emotionally. You are questing for deeper meanings. Although complicated, the month is full of feelings, meanings and lessons. It’s time for something new. Things work in your favor but not without effort and commitment. Get helpers and delegate responsibilities. Aries (March 21-April 19) Love is the name of the game and big things are going to happen. Not only love, but money goes well, too. Pro- mote your image, products, services, etc. You may have so much energy that it is necessary to exercise all excesses. Vulnerabilities exist in the nervous and respiratory systems. Enhance your home! Taurus (April 20-May 21) Romance may be very cerebral and possibly a little uncomfortable. Near the 21st, things may go in really unexpect- ed ways. Professional opportunities and enthusi- asm can lead to success. You will be happy to see your efforts rewarded. Steer clear of over-indulg- ing. Money will not come from quick-buck ways. Gemini (May 22-June 21) Even if there are bumps, relationships grow and get stronger. You won’t lack for cash, you are even lucky in gains. Could be issues related to home or property. There is some risks con- nected to transportation (even on foot.) Some agita- tion or impatience may affect you. Use diplomacy! Cancer (June 22-July 21) Style, grace and appeal are yours. Uncomfortable responsibilities or finan- cial concerns may appear, but if your relationship is strong, things will pass much easier. Do not rush in making decisions. Many issues can be solved with just a moments pause. Do not ignore your health. ODFW Fishing Regs, Discuss Cougar Plan continued from page 13 in 2006, the Plan guides management of cougars in Oregon. The draft updated Plan incorporates new scientific literature and Oregon-specific research about cougars, including a genetics and habitat analy- sis, but does not propose major management chang- es. The updated Plan will continue to stress coexis- tence with Oregon’s more than 6,000 cougars. The Commission will be asked to approve grant funds for nine Res- toration and Enhancement Projects to improve angler access or facilities or en- hance fisheries. Finally, the Com- mission is expected to ap- point a Landowner Rep- resentative to the Access and Habitat Board, which provides grants for proj- ects that improve hunter access or wildlife habitat on private land. Reasonable ac- commodations will be provided as needed for individuals requesting as- sistive hearing devices, sign language interpreters or large-print materials. Individuals needing these types of accommodations may call the ODFW Di- rector’s Office at 800-720- 6339 or 503-947-6044 at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
