The Lions Club recently under- took the Dewey Pool project and have completed the installation of a long-life liner, but there is still more work to be done. Dewey Pool was built on Rock Creek in downtown Vernonia in 1938. It has been a community “swimming place” for thousands of kids and adults over the years since that time. Come join the Vernonia Lions Club on June 25 and help continue this work to restore this community gathering place, have fun, and maybe even make some new friends.
