Reiki and Holiday Stress To the Editor, By Jeff Dolan As a member of the former Vernonia Pride Group, I’m sure I can speak for all of them when I say we’re so pleased to see that others have taken over where we left off decorating the town for Christmas. You have done it bigger and better. I really like Santa in the train! A big, big thank you to all who came out on such a cold day to bring the Spirit of Christmas to Vernonia. The stress of holiday shopping, running from place to place, preparing for Christmas dinner and planning for the New Year are part of the hectic activities of the season. Come in and get your energy back! When your body is strained and under stress, you lose the natural energy flow it depends on for optimum health. The momentum is interrupted like a weak battery in a child’s toy.
