In Memory of... continued from page 16 and Matilda (Hein) Butt. She was raised and received her education in the Mantario community, having graduated from the Mantario High School Class of 1935. She was united in marriage to Albert Bernardus “Bert” Brunsman on April 24, 1942 in San Francisco, California. Following their marriage, they made their home in the Vernonia community for over sixty years until the town flooded on December 3, 2007. Following the flood they moved to Battle Ground, Washington to reside with their daughter, Candace and family, where they have resided since. Isabelle was preceded in death by her husband, Bert, on February 3, 2013 in Battle Ground, Washington, after celebrating over seventy years of marriage together. After moving to the Vernonia community, Bert co-owned and operated Brunsman Hardware Store with his brother, David. They later bought his brother’s share and he and Isabelle operated the store for nine years until 1979, when they sold and retired. Isabelle was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Forest Chapter #42 in Forest Grove, Oregon. Among her special interests she enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and spending time with her family. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Matilda Butt, by her announcements/obituaries/community two brothers; her 2 sisters and her son Albert Edward. Survivors include her two daughters and a son-in-law, Sharon L. Kelley, of Portland, Oregon and Candace M. and Hans Rosengreen, of Battle Ground, Washington; her sister Nettie Randall, of Canada her sister- in-law, Dorothy Spencer, of Placitas, New Mexico. Also surviving are her five grandchildren and a spouse, Albert Alan Ammerman, Aaron Clifford and Crystal Ammerman, Deanna Curtis, Maria Rosengreen and Nina Roberts; her thirteen great- grandchildren, Dutch Ammerman, Carter Ammerman, Sullivan Ammerman, Madelynn Ammerman, Courtney Ammerman, Paige Isabelle Ammerman, Jersie Rose Ammerman, Zach Curtis, Tyler Curtis, Aleigha Darst Fritz Rosengreen, Frankie Rosengreen, Kayleigh Rosengreen, Victoria Rosengreen, Garett and Hayden Huebner; one great great grandchild, Jameson Rosengreen and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests that remembrances may be contributions to The Shrine Hospitals for Children, through Al Kader Shrine, 25100 S.W. Parkway Avenue, Wilsonville, Oregon 97070, in her memory. FLU INFO: There are Vaccination Options Made Specifically for Adults 65 Years of Age and Older: 1) Adults aged 65 and older have two vaccine options available—the traditional flu shot, as well as a higher dose flu vaccine designed specifically to address the age-related decline of the immune system. The higher dose vaccine triggers the body to produce more antibodies against the flu virus than would be produced by the traditional flu shot. 2) BOTH vaccine options are covered by Medicare Part B with no copay.
