An extended thank you to the
local businesses and community for Teresa Williams
your contributions to VHS volleyball Head Volleyball Coach, VHS
players to make their trip to the U of O
team camp. This year 10 girls worked
hard to raise funds to make the trip
but they couldn’t have done it without
your help. The camp offers them three
days of fast paced drills, team work and
competitive play. This year the girls
took second in the Bronze level and
were able to enhance their skills in the

To the Editor,

Recently my wife and I, our
granddaughter, and her boy friend went
fishing. When we got to the lake we saw
that one of the cushions and life vest
had blown out of the boat. I couldn’t
believe it. I had towed the boat several
times to eastern Oregon fishing and
never had a problem. I was sure they
were gone forever. The odds of finding
them were slim to none. We were
coming home after dark looking on the
way knowing it was a waste of time. I
figured they had blown out somewhere
on the Sunset since that was where I
drove the fastest. No sign of them there.
We were almost home when I saw them
leaned up against a light pole. Some
very considerate person had placed
them there where they would be seen.
I would like to thank that person. It was
very nice of them to do that.
