20 in other words july18 2013 Natural Path to Health: Five Element Theory ~ Water By Dr. Carol McIntyre Water is the end of the five element cycle, as it promotes wood by nourishing the roots of the plants and trees. Wood is the beginning of the cycle… so it starts over again. The Kidney and the Bladder are the Water organs. Water is believed to store things, act as a reservoir, a battery; using energy as potential to produce another action. It is transformative. As it is transformative, it helps us to rid negativity. A nice bath after a long hard day of work allows us to relax, separate and let go of the day’s issues. When I am doing any guided imagery for people I always suggest they give their negative thoughts to the ocean. The ocean can use all energy in any form to produce something positive. The ocean represents the Water element. Salt is the taste. Dark blue/ black is the color. The ocean is such a Annual City Wide Garage Sale Sat, August 24th from 9 am to 5 pm. Salt will nourish the kidneys in small amounts and damage in larger amounts. We see this in diabetes and heart disease which leads to damage of the kidneys. As the color is dark blue/ black; the emotion is fear. Many people are fearful of the ocean, the depth, the unknown. It has a power that is incomprehensible. It can create and destroy. We practice the art of “surrendering” to fear in Qigong, which does not mean giving into your fear, but recognizing it for what it is and how it is serving you (or most likely NOT serving you) in your life. Fear is considered to be an emotion that decreases energy, so recognition of fear will help you to release and transform it into something that can create something new. We recently had a very close friend pass away from colon cancer. She was only 43 years old. When her husband spoke at her service he mentioned that she always thanked her nurses and doctors for their services after each of her torturous chemotherapy and radiation treatments. “She never complained once,” he said. She was one of the most generous and loving people to walk this earth and during her time of dealing with her cancer, she never became fearful. Instead, she recognized it and transformed it into positive energy by being thankful for everything she had… A perfect example for all of us. Thank you for all of your continued support. Life is something to cherish and having the support of you all makes it all that much easier to do. Happy Summer! Be well~ Please have exact fare ready. Drivers do not give change.
