10 november27 2012 spirit of christmas in vernonia Welcome to "The Spirit of Christmas in Vernonia" The citizens, businesses and community groups welcome you to join all of us in our traditional small town celebration of the Christmas season, something we call "The Spirit of Christmas in Vernonia." This annual event features traditions both new and old. We hope you will take time to enjoy the sites, sounds, tastes and smells of the holiday season as we celebrate Christmas throughout the community on Saturday December 1 st . This year the city will have three Christmas Trees, donated once again by Mike's Tree Farm. spirit of the holiday with your own personal costume throughout the day, spreading decoration! By donation.
