Buon pomeriggio a tutti.
What I just said is “Good afternoon to everybody”
in Italian. Hi my name is Daniele and I would like
to briefly tell you how many reasons I have to
thank you all. This year has been fantastic for me
and I truly say that I did not expect such a unique
experience. During this year I have tried just
a bit of your lifestyle and culture. I have to tell
you that gaining independence and confidence in
myself are really good skills to take home with me.
Because of these I want to recognize the effort
made by my host family (Scott, Marla and
Amy Rethwill), my teachers, all my coaches,
A.S.S.E, all my classmate and friends and the
entire community of Vernonia that made me feel
accepted. Finally I would like to thank all of you
for introducing me to Oregon’s true seasons--
summer rain, fall rain, winter rain and spring
rain. Thank you.
