March 200^ — Kaleidoscope Club sponsored a Winter Writing Festival in which students, staff and the community took part. Portland poet Paulann Petersen and Oregon City author Virginia Euwer Wolff each presented a reading and answered questions for the audience on Feb. 18. Along with events held throughout the week, the club hosted a poetry reading and art show at the West Linn Public Library on Feb. 20. Student writers, musicians, and artists shared and discussed their work. An dy West, English teacher, spreads pictures for prompts out on the floor during a lunchtime writing session.
