CC Showers, portrayed by Troy Spivey, j unior, and Jennie May, portrayed by Rosie Dickson,
senior, w eep over Jennie M ay's dead brother Buddy, played by N icholas Altishin. Buddy
drowned after his first attem pt at overcom ing his fear of water.
Guest performer Jeff Gilpin plays the guitar as audience members take
their seats. Along with Corbin Wescott and Hans Fambach, juniors, he
provided musical entertainment before the performance and during
intermission.
Spivey rushes into the water to save Altishin, but it is too late for his fallen friend. He intended to
wash Buddy and help him beat his hydrophobia, so he would not have to live his life in fear.
Caitlyn Olson, j unior, watches with amusement as Alexandra Mink, sophomore, and Sara Sebastian,
junior, play "Whoosh, Whoosh, Whoa." This warm-up helped the actresses be focused and aware
of their surroundings.
Jessica Murray, director, braids the hair pf Connor McGuire, senior, in
order to fit it under his hat. It was not appropriate for McGuire's character,
Buddy's dad, to have long hair in the 1930s based production.
