Music Awards At the district music contest held April 21 and 22 at Hillsboro, the West Linn Music Department set a new record. Seventy-five percent of the events quali fied for the Regional contest that will be held in Eugene, May 15 and 16. This year the West Linn Band will again go to the regional it being the only band that received a straight one from all of the judges. The newly formed Saxaphaie sextet and Boy’s small ensemble will also compete• The soloists that are entitled to go are, Joyce Quint, Darrell Thompson, Geno Dochamp, Vivian Clif- ford, Bob Bradley, Jane Aden, Bonnie Baty, Gordon Myhra, Janet Wievesiek and Blenda Rhodes.
