Few Changes Will Be
Made In Schedule
There will be little change in
the schedule for next year, how
ever there will be a few new
subjects and' some present sub
jets will be changed.
Mr. Goetzl will teach journal
ism, speech and dramatics, for
which students will receive Eng
lish credit. These three subjects
will be taught as laboratory sub
jects, such as chemistry, physics,
and agriculture are taught now.

The French and German lan
guages will be dropped, only
Spanish and Latin will be re
tained.

West Linn’s golf team traveled
to Eugene Friday to take part in
match between high schools from
both Oregon and Washington. It
was one of the largest high
school tournaments in the north
west.
Playing in rain and hail the
boys were very good, taking
ninth place out of eighteen
teams.
Those Who went on the trip
were Pete Blyth, Tom Ray,
“Wild” Stevens, Jr. Roe, and
Ernie Butts.
The boys stayed at the Sigma
Chi Frat.
Stevens, being a senior, will be
the only one not returning next
next year.
At the close of the baseball
season, West Linn, tied for first
place in the Tualitan valley
league with Sherwood and New
berg. From a total of thirteen
games played, West Linn won
nine. In the four lost, the scores
were 1-0 with Oregon City, 2-1

the other a home run hit by Hol
lenbeck, the West Linn catcher.
The Lions also got three runs
in the third inning.
Jennings, the Lion pitcher,
struck out nine men. Both pitch
ers hit and walked one man
each.
