This week’s crossword puzzle — Random Acts of Kindness — Each week The Baker County Press will in- clude a list—all anony- mous, of course—of the good deeds and random acts of kind- ness people from around the area have witnessed. To include something you’ve seen or experienced, email News@TheBakerCoun- tyPress.com with “Ran- dom Acts of Kindness” in the subject line. We’ll be sure to include your story. • My aunt and her fam- ily always cut an extra Christmas tree or two, and then give them away to families that might have a hard time getting out to get one for themselves. I think this qualifi es as very kind! • My neighbor not only brought my wayward puppy back to my yard while I was at work, but brought over his tools and, bought supplies, and fi xed the hole in the fence. He didn’t ask for a thing to repay him either, just said to chalk it up as a merry Christmas gift early. There are good people here in town. • I watched a girl give the panhandler out by McDonalds a meal at the corner. I’ve heard that this is his career and he make more money begging than many of us do working. This bothers me more than I can say, but it doesn’t negate the fact that this teenager (I’m guessing) was trying to do something kind for someone else. I don’t think that’s ever wrong.
