Few details are known at this time other than that Tinker was in Virginia and while riding a bicycle was in a fatal accident in volving a vehicle. Tinker was the founder and director of Portland’s Love Makes a Family. She was passionately involved in the peace move ment and a devout Quaker. Her many other accomplishments and works will be detailed in the July 17 issue of Just Out. Tinker leaves behind her wife of many years, Sara Graham, and three children, Josh, Connie and Alex. Tinker’s family and her love for the sanctity of all families was the driving force of her lifetime's work. As news of Tinker’s death spread, her Facebook page quickly filled with words of shock, sorrow and sadness. “Farewell my dear friend: your friend ship, advice, inspiration, and integrity meant so much...I will miss you...” “You will always be with us and live on through all that you have given to the com munity.
