About 30 people attended the “Just Do the Right T hing ” rally on the steps o f the Capitol, including Lon Mahon, Oregon C iti zens A lliance chairman; his wife, Bonnie; and Boh Ekstrom, Constitution Party o f O re gon chairman. Under the new rules, the United Way of the Columbia-Willamette will he cut off from the program if it doesn't sever ties with the Boy Scouts of America by 2004. Norberg claimed the anti-gav organization only bans people who are “aggressively atheis tic” and who “boisterously avow” their sexuality.
