Police say the new law will help them solve crimes. Tim Brown, who owns Connections in the state capital of Perth, thinks customers who are not fully out of the closet will shy away from his club for fear of being taped. “We haven’t had any problems with violence at Connections, and our record shows that,” he told the West Australian newspaper. “We are concerned for the privacy of the people who come to the club.
