Individuals interested in participating in this study must be HIV-positive, 18 years of age or older, and have previous experience with anti-HIV therapy, including protease inhibitor(s). Upon signing an informed consent form, volunteers will undergo a screening visit to determine if they meet entry criteria and to collect background information about their HIV infection. Patients will be asked to make a minimum of 12 visits to Fanno Creek Clinic during the 48-week treatment period. One follow-up visit will be required after the treatment period. Abnormal laboratory values or certain side effects may require additional clinical visits over the course of the study. All office visits, medical evaluations, and study medications related to this clinical research study will be provided at no charge.
