My husband and I have been together for almost two years now and have experienced some bad times but also good times. We both agree that being our age and taking these "blows" make the younger couples stay together longer and the older couples fall apart for one simple reason: Older couples are used to their own ways, and if some "blow" disrupts their way, they can’t handle it. We base this on one simple fact: We have a 50+ friend who is single and loves it because he knows if someone interrupted his way of being, he wouldn't be able to take it. So that is all we have to say. Oh yeah, and Portland could be a little nicer to us newbies.
