Lee Lynchs “Amazon Trail” was not a col umn 1 ever read, and maybe many other people were, like me, not interested, so it may have been a good decision on your part to cut the col umn out. 1 also suspect, and understand, that you may have received some letters from readers express ing their disappointment in not finding “Ama zon Trail” in the paper after so many years, and that you felt that you needed to defend your stance. Fine, but why publish this letter! So harsh, and to top it off you title it “Good Rid dance”? How do you think Lee lynch must have felt? Was it worth your defense to embarrass her? Let’s treat our gay friends with more respect, especially those who have tried to do well by us.
