way for the Pride Northwest board to
acknowledge those contributions.

some of her clients were not so pleased and
consequently she lost a few of them.
“1 had gone through a lot with Measure 9
and there were threats made to myself and
family,” she says. “The award was good affir
mation that what 1 was doing was well-
