June, and since Judy, their piano player,
d ecid ed on different p rio ritie s in her life
and left the band for others. Siste r tomato
m ay never be the sam e, but, they're
ha p p y to announce the pitter patter of
new feet in the b a n d — yes, a new pianist,
Ba rb a ra (BJ) C astlem an, whose ragtim e
p ia n o style and low-down b lues voice are
a w elcom e addition.

Ellington and the Last o f the Blue Devils.
Ellington docum ents the Duke and his
